Disturbing Talks: Ep. 35 – “SCRATCH”

Scratch

In this episode, we sit down with some of the most amazing women I’ve ever had the chance to work with. Together, Director Emma Bell (Frozen, The Walking Dead), Producer/Actress Bel Deliá (The Tunnel), Executive Producer Tessa Saville, and Writer Helen Shang (Hawaii Five-O, Hannibal), we discuss the upcoming psychological horror, short film, SCRATCH.

This podcast is a special one, because this is a flick that I had a hand in making. I was the on set Sound mixer and got to experience, first hand, the genius of this film — and the spectacular people behind it. From the moment I stepped on the set, nothing but love and mutual respect were given. Professionalism was the overall energy of the set and everyone was performing at the top of their game. I’m sure once this film is shared with all the Disturbing Talkers out there, the final product will speak for itself. It’s sure to be a terrifying and emotional journey into the darkness, that finds one 1950’s housewife. The story that unfolds; I’m sure will SCRATCH it’s way into your subconscious.

Topics discussed: We talk about the first time watching THE EXORCIST, Everyone’s “Disturbing” recommendations, The Making of SCRATCH, and the influences that got everyone into film making.
